Midori raised her hand tentitively, she usually didn't talk during class but she had to ask him, "If you're a different type of weapon are you still classified as a death sythe?"

"Oh brother. We already know this." Ragnarok groaned. Why were they reviewing? It was a waste of time in the demon sword's eyes. Perhaps he shouldn't have rushed Crona to the class after all. Sleeping in was definitely looking like it had been the better option.
Crona, on the other hand, was intrigued. His main goal had never been to create a Death Scythe for Lord Death, but that was mainly Medusa's doing. While he did have a bond with Ragnarok, it had been forced upon him. They could work together, this was true, but was their bond strong? Crona wasn't sure. He had never really thought about whether or not Ragnarok cared all that much about him. But the third thing... was his soul all that sound? He had to wonder. "...Does any of that really apply to Ragnarok and I? We're not exactly... normal." Crona finally said, though he kept his voice low. He didn't know just how stupid his question might sound.
Maka's question concerning Death Scythes seemed easy enough to answer. Marie wasn't a scythe at all, but she was considered a Death Scythe. "I think you're considered a Death Scythe even if you don't happen to be a Scythe. I mean... Miss Marie is, and she's a hammer." Crona pointed out.

Genie reacted to midori first by replying "The stronger your weapon is it grows to a death sythe regardless so yeah it would like crona said" Genie then reacted to crona and dimed his voice a little to calm him genie had a feeling this boy was nervous "yep it applys to any miester and weapon so yeppy yep"

Midori sighed and nodded, "Okay good to know."
Maka nudged her friend, "Midori maybe you'll just change form and fight on your own."
The green haired girl nodded and picked up a pencil lighting it on fire using her finger tips.

Genie shocked went to midori and said "Neat trick but anyways back to the topic" He then made a hammer come into his hand and said "Any weapon again can turn into a death sythe so such as a hammer it'd be a death sythe once it has enough power"

Maka was writing stuff down as she listened. She was slightly destracted by what Lord Death had talked to her about. She glanced at Crona and smiled at him.

Seeing Maka smiling at him from the corner of his eye, Crona couldn't help but offer a smile of his own. At least he was in class with someone familiar. Someone other than Ragnarok, at any rate. He was listening to what Genie said even if it was sort of a review. He found it interesting, even if Ragnarok didn't, and wanted to know more. "Weapons should partly be able to fight on their own, anyway, in case something should happen to their meister." Crona said. He thought it sounded reasonable. Soul he knew could do a bit of fighting without Maka, Tsubaki probably could as well, and Liz and Patty were more than taken care of in case something happened to Kid.
"Most weapons. I can't do any fighting on my own since I'm stuck with you." Ragnarok pointed out. That seemed to be the only thing the demon sword had to offer for the moment. Not that Crona minded, of course. The longer Ragnarok stayed quiet, the better off he would be. The fewer his partner said, the better.

"I can't do much fighting on my own either," Midori said smiling at Crona and Ragnarok, "It's harder when you're a sword. Less motion."
Maka shrugged, "It's always better to have your weapon. Meisters usually feel useless when they can't fight."

Genie smiled at crona "Those words are totally true crona!" With a smile to the other two girls he grinned again and said "You three have such right words. Most weapons can fight by themselves but it's stronger to work together that's why it's important to have teamwork. Teamwork is a powerful thing. Believe me I know that"

"Who do you work with Genie?" Maka asked.
She was truely curious to know if he had a weapon or if he just used magic. There were questions about the blue teacher that no one truly understood. Though no one wanted to be straight out and ask him if he had a contection with the witches. Lord Death trusted him, but did ask Maka to find out a little more about their blue friend.

Genie pondered about maka's question and replied "I don't really have one maka good question I use my magic powers as weapons" Genie then smiled again and just sighed "It gets kinda lonely but hey magic can be fun to use"

"Magic... as weapons?" Crona asked. He was surprised by the response. Marie he could understand not having a partner since she was a Death Scythe, but Genie wasn't one as far as he could tell. "H-How does that work?" Crona asked. He wasn't associated with witches, was he? Crona didn't know if he could deal with that. Then again, Genie seemed nice. Too nice to be with witches like Medusa. Knowing that made Crona relax a little more, but he was still curious.

Genie clarified for crona because he realized he didn't really make sense "I mean I just use my powers which is magic I meant and it's really easy for me I just snap my fingers and--" With that he snapped his fingers and a sword popped out of his hand and he transformed as a ninja and said "Yao! See what I mean?"

Maka nodded, "Makes sence i suppose."
She tapped her pencil before standing up, "I have a meeting with Lord Death. Please excuse me."
Walking out the door she shut it quietly behind her. Midori blinked and looked at the closed door. glancing back at Genie she gave a timid smile.
"She's been on edge lately," she said softly, "Hasn't she?"

"Wow..." Crona was amazed. Genie didn't appear to be any specific kind of weapon. He could be anything he wanted! Limitless freedom... it was something Crona admittedly envied a little. Even Ragnarok appeared intrigued to some degree. The little demon sword appeared to be wondering just what sort of powers Genie possessed if he was able to use any kind of weapon. Maka leaving confused him, though. What could Lord Death have wanted her for so suddenly? As he wondered, and as Maka seemed to have disappeared, the door opened again and another voice caught his attention.
"E-Excuse me! Sorry, is this the right class room? Oh, I hope it is. I've been wandering around looking for it all morning!"
Crona shifted his gaze to the direction of the new voice, only to find that it was Marie. The poor Death Scythe looked like she had run herself ragged looking for the room, as she was leaning against the door frame and trying to catch her breath. Crona idly wondered if Marie had overslept or anything like that. Judging from how ruffled her hair appeared, that might have been the case.
