Name: Marie Mijolnir
Age: 32
Height: 5’6”
Weight: 125 pounds
Weapon type: Hammer, but classified as Death Scythe
Gender: Female
Appearance: Marie is a short woman with shoulder length blonde hair and shockingly yellow eyes. Typically Marie is seen wearing a long jacket over a pretty yellow dress and white boots. Her most notable feature is the black eye patch that she keeps over her left eye. It is rather plain, but it has a yellow lightning bolt design on it that transfers over to her weapon form when she is in it. Her weapon form is that of a small black hammer that can also transform into a tonfa, which increases in length depending on the wielder’s soul wavelength
Picture:
Personality: Marie is a fairly simple person, enjoying simple moments and easily amazed by even small wonders. She had originally wanted to quit right after becoming a Death Scythe so that she could settle down and get married, but wasn't able to find the person that was right for her and so could not do so. Marie is rather desperate in that sense, as she thinks she'll never get married and even claimed she would marry a toilet once. She is rather calm and peaceful, and a sweetheart for the most part, but she won't hesitate to fight if she absolutely has to. It should also be noted that Marie has a terrible sense of direction.
Partner: Lord Death could be considered her partner, but for the moment she has none as Spirit is Lord Death's main Death Scythe
Background: Marie was one of the many weapons of Lord Death, but she wasn't all that eager to be his weapon. She would have much rather lived a peaceful life with a husband, and so decided to quit not long after becoming a Death Scythe to get married and live that life. Unfortunately, she was not able to find anyone to marry and so took up a position in Oceania because things were peaceful there. That didn't last all that long, though, as eventually Lord Death summoned all the Death Scythes after Medusa's group brought about the return of Asura. It was decided that Marie would need to stay in Death City to keep an eye on Stein since her soul possessed calming qualities that could quiet Stein's insanity.
While at the DWMA, Marie befriended Maka, Soul, Tsubaki, Black*Star, Kid, Liz, Patty, and even Crona. She liked being a teacher at the school as it got her closer to her students and made it easier for her to keep an eye on Stein. She ended up moving in with Stein as instructed by Lord Death, and so began the process of trying to calm Stein's insanity. However, one night things became more complicated. Marie was oblivious to it, but Crona had been instructed by Medusa to implant a device within Marie that would increase the insanity of Stein, and so Marie actually ended up driving forward Stein's insanity instead of quelling it.
When Crona eventually did reveal that that was what he had done against his will, she did forgive him. Others weren't so quick to, but she saw that he hadn't meant for any of what had happened to happen. Soon after that Stein disappeared and Marie and Crona were instructed to find him. They did, but they found him with Medusa and were forced to fight them. Maka and Soul came as backup against orders, and Crona was severely injured during the fight, but Marie was finally able to calm Stein's spirit and brought him back to their side so that he could help.
After the eventual defeat of Asura, Marie was convinced that life would return to normal in Death City. However, this was not the case. It turned out that Medusa had been resurrected by someone known as the Shadowman, and the threat had once again returned to Death City. Marie realized she would need to stay so she could help fight, and so she did. While she isn't 100% sure of how much help she'll be, Marie is determined to help in any way she can.
Friends: Maka, Soul, Crona, Black*Star, Tsubaki, Kid, Liz, Patty, Stein, Spirit, Lord Death, and pretty much anyone else sided with the DWMA
Enemies: Medusa and Dr. Facilier
Sample Post: "Wait... is this the right way? Or should I have gone that way? Maybe I should have gone that way... oh no..." Marie seemed to have gotten herself lost in the lower portion of the DWMA. It wasn't all that unusual given her bad sense of direction, but the fact remained that she was lost. The blonde Death Scythe disliked this immensely. What if one of the others were to see her? She would be a laughing stock if she wasn't one already! "Oh no... this isn't good at all. I've been wandering around for hours and I still have no idea where I am, and I think there's a pebble in my shoe now. This isn't good. How am I supposed to help Lord Death when I can't even navigate a simple building?" Marie asked herself.
She suddenly came to a stop when she saw something familiar. Stairs. Stairs leading up. She blinked a couple of times, almost as if she didn't register what she was seeing completely, but eventually let out a relieved sigh when she realized where she was. Marie had found the stairs at long last. She could go back up to the regular levels of the school. "Well, at least no one else saw any of that. Now they can't mock my direction skills." Marie told herself. With that in mind, the blonde Death Scythe made her way up the stairs. She was determined to prove herself useful to Lord Death, even with this tiny mishap.
